Job Overview We are seeking experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineers to join the leadership team of our Digital & Emerging Technologies (DET) Team in EY Consulting.
The role focuses on delivering cloud infrastructure solutions on Google Cloud Platform for our financial and non‐financial services marketplace.
Key Responsibilities Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions on Google Cloud Platform aligned with business requirements.
Migrate workloads from on‐premises environments or other public clouds to Google Cloud Platform, ensuring seamless integration and minimal downtime.
Develop automation scripts and tools using Terraform or other Infrastructure‐as‐Code tools to streamline deployment, configuration, and management of cloud resources.
Implement robust backup solutions to safeguard critical data and ensure data integrity in the event of data loss or corruption, utilizing GCP‐native backup services or third‐party backup solutions where applicable.
Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions on GCP.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members, sharing knowledge and best practices in GCP infrastructure management.
Stay up to date with emerging technologies and GCP services, continuously evaluating and implementing new solutions to optimize our cloud environment.
Collaborate with client‐facing teams and management to develop estimates, POVs, Position Papers, and contribute to pursuits, proposals, and Statement of Work (SOW).
Participate in organization‐wide people initiatives.
Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills; conference‐level presentation skills a plus.
Skills and Attributes for Success Proficient in implementing GCP landing zones to meet specific project requirements and organizational standards.
Strong experience in establishing governance policies, security controls, and compliance measures within landing zones to ensure secure and efficient cloud operations.
Strong experience working with Terraform or other Ia C tools on Cloud (GCP, AWS & Azure).
Experience in developing infrastructure automation solutions using Ia C tools such as Terraform, Deployment Manager, Jenkins, Terraform Cloud, or other CI/CD tools to streamline the deployment of GCP resources.
Experience in developing and implementing organizational policies and defining custom organization policy.
