Experteer Overview
In this role you support the Decoding Library used in Datalogic scanners, driving software quality and release management. You will collaborate with R&D, DevOps, and support teams to ensure smooth CI/CD processes and robust tooling across platforms. You’ll work hands‑on on release automation, test farms, and integration of new library features with customer applications. This position offers impact through improving the decoding stack and enabling cross-team success in a fast-paced environment.
Retribuzione / Benefits
- Release process management and Python-based scripting to improve the library release workflow
- Operate and extend a test infrastructure across Linux/Windows servers and embedded Linux devices for performance and regression testing
- Maintain the CI/CD pipeline with Docker, Jenkins, JFrog, and network filesystems; implement static analysis (clang, cppcheck)
- Collaborate with Technical Support and R&D across Business Units to analyze field issues and determine origin within the library or application software
- Assist with integration of new library features into BU applications and troubleshoot integration challenges
- Provide technical collaboration and issue resolution across teams to support software quality and usability
Responsabilità
- 5-8 years of hands‑on SW engineering experience
- Proficiency in Italian and English (intermediate or better)
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree in Computer/Electronic Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent field
- Experience with release management, automated testing, and CI/CD tooling
