About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Despatch Coordinator to join our Distribution Operations team at our Sunshine site.

Reporting to the Distribution Manager, you will play a critical role in keeping our despatch operation running safely and efficiently.

What You'll Do

  • Keep trucks, drivers and despatch activities moving safely and efficiently across our Sunshine site.

  • Coordinate load priorities and work closely with Yard Team Leaders, transport providers and drivers to minimise delays.

  • Manage customer pick-ups, delivery documentation, PODs and transport bookings.

  • Provide delivery updates and support Customer Service, Sales and operational stakeholders.

  • Support the Distribution Manager with purchasing, reporting and payroll administration activities.

  • Champion safety, compliance and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements across the site.

About You

  • Experience in a similar role in a warehouse, logistics, transport or distribution environment.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with a range of stakeholders.

  • Excellent organisation skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.

  • High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

  • Sound computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.

  • Experience using ERP systems, with SAP experience highly regarded.

  • A strong focus on safety and compliance.

  • A current Driver's Licence.

  • Forklift Licence (desirable).

  • Certificate IV in Logistics or similar qualification (desirable).
