Overview
As a Dev Engineer in our Milan team, you will build and maintain microservices using Spring Boot and Java within a 24/7 banking environment. You’ll work in an agile setting, ensuring code quality, performance, and security while collaborating with architects, release, and operations teams. You’ll design tests, resolve defects, and support production issues to keep services reliable. This role combines technical leadership with hands‑on development in a high‑impact, digital‑banking context.

Responsibilities
Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
3+ years’ experience in a similar role in a 24/7 environment (banking preferred)
Proven Agile experience
Strong Java development with J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot
Advanced experience with REST & SOAP services
JUnit testing, TDD, and Spring Integration testing
Knowledge of version control (Azure and Git)
Experience with JBoss and Tomcat
SQL/DBMS knowledge (Oracle, PL/SQL)
IT technologies knowledge
Fluent Italian and English (written and spoken)
Microsoft Office knowledge
