Standard Job Description
Basic Qualifications
=> Current DoD IAT Level II certification (e.g. Sec+ CE or CISSP)
=> 3+years of hands‑on experience in DevOps/DevSecOps engineering (infrastructure‑as‑code, CI/CD, automation, ansible, terraform, helm)
=> Strong proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
=> Strong proficiency with container orchestration (Kubernetes)
=> Strong Linux experience – daily administration of RedHat or similar distributions, Bash/Python scripting, package management, system hardening, and troubleshooting.
=> Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to work independently and in cross‑functional teams
Desired Skills
=> 5+years of progressive DevSecOps or systems‑engineer experience, especially in defense, aerospace, or mission‑critical domains.
=> Experience implementing NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF) and NIST SP 800-53 c > Experience in agile team leadership or customer interaction
=> Experience with GitOps workflows (Argo CD) and service mesh security (Istio)

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $110300.00 - $204900.00

- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
