Role Purpose:
As a Developer, you will be responsible for supporting online development and operation of e-commerce systems.
A typical day in the Role:
- Develop, enhance, and maintain customer-facing eCommerce eShops, ensuring performance, scalability, security, and alignment with business requirements.
- Develop, enhance, and support middleware services integrating eCommerce platforms with D365 SOM, including order capture, pricing & payment, promotions, and customer data synchronization and another middleware with invoice processing function & connection to TMS, email gateway, Invoice Portal.
- Provide application support for eShops and middleware, including incident investigation, root-cause analysis, bug fixing, and performance tuning to meet agreed service levels.
- Support system releases across DEV/UAT/PROD environments, including deployment, regression testing, hotfix implementation, and post-release monitoring.
- Ensure applications and integrations comply with IT security, audit, and operational standards, proactively managing technical risks and technical debt.
- Foster strong collaboration with System Analysts, vendors, and business stakeholders to clarify requirements, review technical designs, and deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Maintain clear technical documentation for applications, integrations, APIs, and operational procedures to support knowledge sharing and continuity.
- Responsible for handling ad‑hoc tasks and assignments as directed

Success will depend on:
- Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related disciplines; relevant professional certifications are an advantage.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in application development and production support, preferably in digital platforms and FMCG industry.
- Proven experience in middleware and API-based system integration, ideally with D365 Sales or similar CRM / Oracle ERP platforms, and Azure Data Factory (ADF) for ETL and data integration
- Strong programming skills in relevant backend and frontend technologies (e.g. .NET/C#, JavaScript, web services, RESTful APIs).
- Solid understanding of eCommerce architecture, integration patterns, and cloud platforms (Azure / AWS).
- Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, release management, and system monitoring is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; able to work independently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in English, Chinese and Mandarin, presentable in both written and spoken language.
- Candidates with more experience will be considered as Senior Developer
