Developer Full Stack

Job Summary

Under minimal supervision, the Full Stack Developer will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development including the implementation of WordPress themes and plugins as well as site integration and security updates.
To ensure success as a Full Stack WordPress Developer, the Full Stack Developer requires in-depth knowledge of front-end programming languages, a good eye for aesthetics, strong content management, as well as back-end development, such as API integrations and multi-site management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops, integrates, and delivers applications using front- end, back end, database and hosting tools. Deliver software products independently using functional specifications.

• Design and build the website front-end by using tools (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to produce, modify, and maintain websites and web application user interfaces.

• Design and manage the website back-end including database and server integration using back-end tools (e.g., PHP).

• Facilitate meetings with clients to discuss website design and function. Ensure understanding of client requirements.

• Work on ongoing integration projects utilizing endpoint APIs to exchange information.

• Participate in cross-browser testing and remediation for performance and visual quality assurance. Identify and work with team to resolve performance and scalability issues.

• Generate WordPress themes and plugins.

• Create website architecture.

Education

• Typically requires a degree in Computer Science or related field.

• Certification / Licensure - None required.

Work Experience

• At least 5 years of experience as a WordPress Developer using front and back-end technologies.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

• Knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, and jQuery. Knowledge of back-end technologies including PHP.

• Knowledge of code versioning tools including Git, BitBucket, SourceTree.

• Experience working with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector and Firebug.

• Knowledge of technical and on-page SEO.

• Understanding of website architecture and aesthetics.

The anticipated salary range for this position:

$101,000.00 - $152,000.00 Annual

The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
