TRACKER requires the services of a Lead Developer in the Technology Department. We require a self-starter withan outgoing personality and the ability to communicate at all levels. The successful candidate will be required toDelivery of solutions to achieve customer satisfaction, while working within a team.
- Technical leadership in delivery of Internal Systems products and solutions, within team and potentially across teams.
- When relevant, effective management of staff in Internal Systems teams.
- Continuously align delivery to the Tracker and Internal Systems team strategy and planning.
- When relevant, provide input into the annual salary review process as and when required.
- Deliver strategic projects on time, in budget, with the desired functionality, at the defined quality level in a
sustainable way. - Define and design architecture/technical implementation related to area of responsibility, while collaborating with other managers, leads and architects.
- Meet best practice criteria in the evaluation and testing of software.
- When relevant, assure that team members adhere to and follow these practices.
- Complete work orders in appropriate timescales.
- Maintain and systems without introducing new defects.
- Share knowledge with development and support teams.
- Document systems, including enhancements to facilitate knowledge sharing.
- Mentor and coach Junior Developers.
- Ensure that the best practice development processes and standards are followed.
- Effective use of development toolset.
- Relevant Degree/Diploma with 6 years of relevant experience
- C# development using .NET Framework and .NET Core
- High performance and scalable API design and development
- Using integration platforms; Boomi experience is beneficial
- Database & Data Access
- Microsoft SQL Server (incl. SQL Server 2016/2019)
- Entity Framework 6 and Entity Framework Core, Dapper
- Applies modern software engineering principles, including modular architecture, maintainable code design,
and automated testing strategies to ensure high-quality, scalable solutions. - Root cause analysis, debugging, and data investigation
- Integration & Messaging
- API integrations using REST, XML, JSON, SOAP
- Integration platforms: Boomi (highly preferred)
- IFS Cloud / FSM / PSO API integrations
- Cloud, DevOps & Deployment
- Cloud technologies and orchestration tooling (general)
- IIS configuration knowledge
- Unit testing frameworks (experience advantageous)
- Agile QA testing principles
- Visual Studio, VS Code. (Boomi, Microsoft Power Platform, IFS Cloud / FSM / PSO is beneficial)
- Microsoft Teams for collaboration
- Sparx Systems Enterprise Architect (Beneficial)
