We are looking for a talented and motivated Developer to join Stormcraft Studios . In this role, you will design, build, and maintain slot games using our proprietary Java Script-based game engine, turning creative concepts into polished, high-quality player experiences.
You'll work with modern development tools, including AI-assisted workflows, to write clean, scalable code and deliver innovative, practical solutions. Working closely with stakeholders across the studio, you'll help drive efficiency, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse requirements Design, develop, and maintain software applications, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices Develop and maintain APIs, integrations, and connectors to enhance system functionalities Design, develop, and implement business process automation solutions to streamline operations and improve efficiency Lead the integration of diverse IT systems to ensure seamless data flow and functionality across platforms Develop custom applications using a blend of low-code and pro-code approaches Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement through technology Explore and implement AI-driven solutions to further enhance automation, predictive analytics, and decision‑making processes Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends, driving their adoption where appropriate to enhance the organisation’s technological capabilities Conduct thorough testing and debugging of software applications to ensure quality and reliability Troubleshoot and resolve issues, performing root cause analysis when necessary Ensure timely completion of assigned projects and deliverables Provide technical guidance to peers and stakeholders of varying technical capability Lead design discussions for solutions in his/her remit Participate in process reviews to ensure technical feasibility and understanding of the process being automated Research and prototype of new tools and technologies, including required documentation Teach, coach or mentor others to improve organisational outcomes using automation AI and Automation tools for new Tools or Applications, establish logging, monitoring and observability requirements and solutions. Qualifications Minimum 3 year relevant qualification and at least 5 years software development experience.
OR Relevant 1 year certification and at least 7 years software development experience
OR Minimum 8 years software development experience Proficiency in programming languages such as Java Script and C# Experience working with event-based architectures and associated infrastructure patterns Agile practices (such as scrums/sprints, customer journey mapping, kanban, backlogs). Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, operations, and executive leadership Solid knowledge of API development and integration techniques Working in an environment that complies with IS27001 preferred Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure Equal Opportunities Statement
