The Role

• End-to-End Process Ownership: Oversee the complete technical lifecycle of nut processing—from raw material handling and thermal treatment to downstream grinding and paste formulation.
• Quality & Specification Leadership: Define rigorous raw material specifications and implements robust strategies to manage natural crop variability and critical food safety parameters.
• Innovation & Technology Scouting: Act as the technical pioneer for the plant by continuously screening, testing, and evaluating novel processing technologies to improve economic efficiency, strengthen supply chain resilience, and enhance overall product performance.
• Application Enablement: Bridge the critical gap between raw material processing and final product performance. In close collaboration with the Application team, drives the hands-on development and validation of new products.
• Strategic Network & Collaboration: Build and maintain a strong technical network, fostering knowledge exchange with other production sites, research institutions, and external partners to continuously advance global processing capabilities.

The Profile

• A degree in Food Technology, Food Engineering, Food Science, or a closely related scientific discipline.
• Profound, hands-on expertise in nut processing technologies, specifically industrial roasting, milling, and paste creation.
• Deep understanding of raw material quality management, natural crop variations, and the specific food safety challenges associated with nut processing.
• A highly collaborative and inquisitive mindset. You are passionate about exploring novel technologies and excel at translating processing capabilities into actionable success for application teams.
• Strong communication and networking skills, allowing you to integrate seamlessly with cross-functional teams, external institutions, and global sister plants.
• Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus.
