Job Description

Position : Java Full Stack Developer

Location : Austin, TX Hybrid Must reside within 50 - 70 miles from Austin

Duration : Long term contract

MOI : Final round will be onsite

Project Overview

The client is seeking experienced Developer/Programmer Analyst 3 professionals to support application design, development, and migration activities. Selected candidates will design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using modern Java technologies and JavaScript frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy new application components
• Develop and maintain front-end (React/Angular) and back-end services (Java, Spring Boot)
• Develop RESTful APIs and manage API integrations
• Perform database design and application lifecycle management
• Conduct performance tuning and vulnerability remediation
• Create technical and design documentation
• Follow best practices for scalability, performance, and maintainability

Minimum Required Experience (8+ Years Required in Each Area)

• Web application development using Java & J2EE
• Front-end development using React or Angular
• Web services & API development
• Spring Boot (open-source Java frameworks)
• RESTful service security (JWT, OAuth)
• JEE application implementation
• Responsive client-facing applications
• Web service integration with Angular/React SPAs
• Application performance, scalability & maintainability best practices

Preferred Experience (5+ Years Preferred)

• JBoss Enterprise Application Platform
• Agile Development Methodologies
