The Developer/Programmer Analyst 3 is responsible for sustaining and developing large-scale applications within a team environment. This role involves working extensively with Java and SQL databases, supporting application transitions from legacy mainframe systems to modern Java/SQL platforms, and utilizing Agile methodologies to deliver quality software solutions.
Responsibilities:- Minimum 15 years of Java programming experience.
- Minimum 10 years of experience with SQL databases.
- At least 8 years of sustaining and development experience in support of large applications within a team environment.
- Minimum 5 years of experience working with Linux systems.
- Experience with Atlassian tool suite, especially JIRA (8 years preferred).
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (8 years preferred).
- Experience with State of Texas applications and Texas Department of Public Safety environment (2 years preferred).
- Experience transitioning applications from legacy mainframe environments to Java/SQL environments (2 years preferred).
- Must meet or exceed minimum required experience to be considered for the role.
