We are seeking a Developer Programmer to join our Brisbane-based team specialising in custom software solutions, web application development, and system integration. This role involves working on modern web-based applications using Microsoft .NET technologies, contributing to both frontend and backend development in a collaborative and agile environment.
You will work closely with senior developers and project teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software solutions for a diverse range of clients.
Key Responsibilities
· Design, develop, and maintain web-based applications using Microsoft .NET technologies
· Analyse user and business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications
· Contribute to both frontend and backend development across the full software development lifecycle
· Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in accordance with established coding standards
· Develop and execute integration and browser-based tests to ensure application reliability and performance
· Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and performance issues
· Participate in system design and architecture discussions to support scalable and maintainable solutions
· Collaborate with team members using version control tools (e.g., Git) and participate in code reviews
· Continuously improve application performance, security, and scalability
Qualifications and skills required for the role:
·Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Software Engineering, or a related field
·At least 1 year relevant experience in software or web application development
·Strong experience with Microsoft .NET technologies (e.g., C#, *, .NET Core)
·Experience with frontend technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
·Experience with version control systems such as Git
·Understanding of software testing methodologies, including integration and browser-based testing
·Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
·Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
