Position Overview
Our client is seeking a Senior, hands-on Developer to support and enhance a Numerix-based platform used daily by the business. Numerix Oneview experience is strongly preferred.
The ideal candidate will have strong development and production support experience across Python, Java/Spring Boot, and SQL, with the ability to troubleshoot issues, investigate data/output discrepancies, and drive problems through resolution.
This is a highly visible role requiring close collaboration with business stakeholders and an offshore delivery team. Strong communication, ownership, and problem-solving skills are essential.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Python.
- Strong experience with Java and Spring/Spring Boot.
- Strong SQL development and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience working in production support and troubleshooting environments.
- Strong debugging and root-cause analysis capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work directly with business and technical stakeholders.
- Experience collaborating with offshore development teams.
- Numerix Oneview experience is highly preferred.
- Capital markets or financial services experience.
- Experience with financial platforms, trading systems, or other data-driven financial applications.
