What You’ll Do
- Research into new technologies, electronics components, and circuits.
- Development of electrical hardware for lighting controls from concept to completion.
- Design verification and validation, to ensure required functionality, compliance, quality, cost & manufacturability.
- Liaise with other local and global R&D colleagues and teams, material suppliers and manufacturers globally.
Your Qualifications
- BSc/MSc degree in Electronics or Mechatronic Engineering, with 2+ years of commercial experience in analogue & digital electronics design.
- Strong proficiency in Altium E-CAD (PCB Design) & MS Office suite. SolidWorks M-CAD, Adobe suite and programming languages such as C, C++ and Python would be an advantage.
- Design experience with digital wired and wireless communication PHY layers implementation, microcontroller circuits and peripherals, analogue and digital circuits and power supplies.
- Understanding of IEC/EN and UL standards would be an advantage.
- Ability to work unsupervised and to take ownership of tasks and projects, with a good understanding of project management fundamentals and ability to work effectively in a global multi-site, multi-cultural R&D and manufacturing team environment.
- Demonstrated hands‑on practical skills with the ability to build and test prototypes.
- Understanding of project management fundamentals.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
