Senior development operations engineer

Reference: 11185 MB Consultant: Marié Bosman Job Description Design, implement, and maintain Dev Ops solutions, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation. Lead system enhancements, automation initiatives, and client‑driven development projects. Provide technical support and ensure service delivery standards are met. Mentor and support team members, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement. Develop and maintain scripts, infrastructure-as-code solutions, and automated deployment processes. Monitor and optimise server, network, and virtualisation environments. Collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver innovative and reliable IT solutions. Prepare reports on team performance, project progress, and client requirements. Ensure adherence to Dev Ops best practices, security standards, and operational procedures. Qualifications Grade 12 qualification. Valid driver's licence and own transport. Minimum 4 years' experience in IT infrastructure management. 3–5 years' experience with Linux, Windows Server, networking, and software development. Experience with virtualisation technologies such as VMware, Hyper‑V, or KVM. Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Ansible, Terraform, and infrastructure automation. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, PHP, Node JS, or Perl. Experience with Git, Jira, SQL/No SQL databases, and API integrations. Strong networking knowledge (Cisco, Mikrotik, or similar). Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and perform effectively in a fast‑paced environment. Relevant certifications and container orchestration experience will be advantageous. #J-18808-Ljbffr
