We are seeking a highly motivated DevOps/Cloud Engineer to join our team in Spain. Responsibilities- Lead and support the development of scalable cloud infrastructure, with an emphasis on automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Characterise and optimise system performance properties (e.G., uptime, deployment speed, security protocols, and cost-efficiency).
- Conduct experimental testing and analysis of CI/CD pipelines, cloud configurations, and deployment feedstocks.
- Collaborate with software developers and design teams to ensure infrastructure performance aligns with end-use applications.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure databases, security standards, and qualification processes for cloud environments.
- Support R&D projects, contributing to technical reports regarding cloud architecture and system scalability.
- Stay current with emerging cloud technologies, DevOps tools, and industry standards in automated manufacturing environments.
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in cloud infrastructure development (e.G., AWS, Azure, GCP, or Kubernetes).
- Strong background in system characterisation (monitoring, logging, and microstructural system analysis).
- Hands-on experience with automation and testing techniques (CI/CD tools, scripting, and security auditing).
- Ability to design and execute infrastructure experiments, interpret system data, and draw actionable conclusions.
- Proficiency in technical reporting and the ability to communicate infrastructure status to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of how digital infrastructure interacts with physical manufacturing data and process-material interactions.
