Role Overview

As the DevOps / Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. You will work closely with backend engineers to automate deployments, monitor performance, and enforce best practices for security and compliance. This is a hands-on role where you will design systems that scale, while ensuring high uptime and data protection.

Key Responsibilities

Architect, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.

Ensure system reliability, availability, and scalability for the platform.

Monitor application and infrastructure performance, set up logging and alerts.

Implement security best practices: encryption, access control, network security.

Manage database backups, recovery, and disaster recovery processes.

Optimize cloud costs and resources for efficiency.

Collaborate with the engineering team to support development and production environments.

Support compliance efforts (SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA) by enforcing infrastructure standards.
