About the Position
We are seeking aSenior Dev Ops / Cloud Infrastructure Engineerwith deep experience inAWSandTerraformto lead a high-impact infrastructure migration project.
You will play a critical role in rebuilding a complex cloud environment in a new AWS account, ensuring all services are securely replicated, optimized, and production-ready.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a wide array of modern data and machine learning tools, collaborating closely with data engineering teams to drive innovation through scalable and secure infrastructure.
Responsibilities
Lead the replication of a complex AWS infrastructure using Terraform.
Audit, improve, and extend existing Terraform modules for reusability and clarity.
Provision and configure AWS services such asS3, Lambda, Redshift, EMR, MSK, MWAA, Athena, Glue, Sage Maker, and Databricks on EC2.
Design and implementIAM roles, policies, Secrets Manager entries , andcross-account access.
Configurenetworkingelements such asVPCs, subnets, NAT gateways, and security groups.
Manage remote Terraform state usingS3/Dynamo DB.
Implement and maintainCI/CD pipelines(e.g., Git Hub Actions, Jenkins, Terraform Cloud).
Supportsecure data migrationstrategies using cross-account replication, KMS, and Redshift snapshots.
Collaborate withData Engineers and platform stakeholdersto ensure architectural alignment.
Requirements
5+ years of experience inDev Ops, Cloud Infrastructure , orInfrastructure-as-Coderoles.
Expert-levelproficiency inTerraformand managing infrastructure inmulti-account AWSenvironments.
Deep hands-on experience with core AWS services:
Compute : Lambda, EC2
Data : S3, Redshift, Glue, MSK, Sage Maker
IAM and Security : IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager
Experience designing and managingCI/CD pipelines(e.g., Git Hub Actions, Jenkins).
Strong understanding of AWSsecurity and compliancebest practices.
Ability to communicate fluently inEnglish , both written and spoken.
Nice to Have
Previous work indata engineering environmentsor withanalytics platforms.
Experience with tools such asFivetran, Databricks , or external data connectors.
Familiarity withTerraform automation toolslikeTerragrunt.
Awareness ofmonitoring and observabilitytooling such asCloud Watch, Datadog, or ELKstack.
