The Dev Ops Engineer is responsible for the design and implementation of processes and tools to enable continuous integration and continuous delivery, maximizing the speed and quality of delivery across teams. The role is responsible for automating build, release, deployment, and configuration activities.

Responsible for the platform solution design and implementation of processes and tools to enable continuous integration and continuous delivery, maximizing the speed and quality of delivery across teams. Ensure the automation of the platform build, release, deployment, and configuration activities. Work closely with software, QA, and systems engineers to understand requirements and prototype, architect, implement, operate, and update Dev Ops solutions accordingly. Be flexible to constant business and technology change, with the ability to interact, engineer, and communicate collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders. Automate software and infrastructure deployment and configuration management. Have Agile and Dev Ops software development experience. Utilize public and private cloud Iaa S and Paa S deployment models and technologies, e.g., Open Stack, AWS, Azure. Apply continuous integration and continuous delivery methodologies and tools. Conduct production-readiness assessments of modules and supporting systems. Use infrastructure automation and configuration management tools, e.g., Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Salt. Qualifications And Experience
Qualifications And Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Programming, or other related field is essential. Five or more years of experience in programming and/or systems analysis applying agile frameworks. At least three years of Dev Ops platform management in large delivery organizations. Extensive experience designing, developing, testing, and deploying Dev Ops toolchains to support continuous integration and continuous delivery, using a variety of technologies and environments. Extensive experience with test-driven development, release management, agile methodologies, Unix, Linux, and Apache. Extensive experience working with at least two or more programming languages (e.g., PHP, Java), virtualization (e.g., VMWare), database technologies (e.g., My SQL), Kafka/Rabbit MQ/IBM MQ, and release and configuration management tools (e.g., Chef). Experience working in a large agile environment, with multiple teams. Professional experience and knowledge of the Telecommunications industry preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
