Job Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated DevOps Engineer with strong experience in AWS cloud infrastructure, CI/CD automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and Kubernetes. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in modern DevOps practices and be passionate about automation, reliability, and continuous improvement.
The role offers an excellent opportunity to work with modern engineering practices, including Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), LaunchDarkly feature management, observability, and cloud-native technologies. While prior experience with LaunchDarkly is preferred, candidates with a strong DevOps background and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS.
- Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines using industry-standard DevOps tools.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred).
- Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS preferred).
- Monitor production environments and improve system reliability, performance, and availability.
- Partner with development teams to streamline software deployment and release processes.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues in production environments.
- Implement security best practices across cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
- Support SRE initiatives by improving monitoring, alerting, incident response, and system resilience.
- Learn and adopt LaunchDarkly for feature flag management and progressive application releases.
- Participate in on-call support and production incident management when required.
Required Skills
- 8+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, ECS/EKS, CloudWatch, RDS, Lambda, etc.).
- Experience with Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code tools.
- Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Experience with source control systems such as Git.
- Knowledge of Linux administration and shell scripting (Bash/Python).
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Splunk.
- Understanding of networking, security, and cloud architecture best practices.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles and practices.
- Experience with LaunchDarkly or willingness to learn feature flag management.
- Experience with ArgoCD or GitOps practices.
- Knowledge of observability platforms and application performance monitoring.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Experience supporting highly available, production-critical applications.
Nice to Have
- AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or SysOps Administrator).
- Experience in financial services, banking, or wealth management domains.
- Experience implementing automation for cloud infrastructure and deployment workflows.
