As a Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS, Snowflake, Infrastructure & Security) you'll design and implement CI/CD pipelines for AWS and Snowflake platforms.
Location: Remote (EST)
Duties DevOps & Automation- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for AWS and Snowflake platforms.
- Build reusable automation frameworks and deployment processes.
- Establish DevOps standards, governance, and release practices.
- Deploy and manage AWS cloud services.
- Ensure scalability, availability, disaster recovery, and cost optimization.
- Support infrastructure provisioning through Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Automate deployment of Snowflake databases, schemas, tables, views, Snowpipe, streams, tasks, and stored procedures.
- Manage Snowflake releases and environment promotions.
- Monitor and optimize Snowflake performance.
- Support enterprise data warehouse migration to Snowflake.
- Automate deployments for ingestion, transformation, and analytics workloads.
- Support migrations from Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server, Hadoop, and Netezza.
CI/CD & Release Management
- Automate deployments for ETL/ELT processes, APIs, Snowflake objects, and infrastructure.
- Manage release schedules, approvals, testing, and rollback strategies.
- Implement IAM, secrets management, encryption, and security monitoring.
- Integrate vulnerability scanning and security controls into CI/CD pipelines.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, SOC2, and internal security standards.
- Implement monitoring using CloudWatch, Splunk, Datadog, and Snowflake monitoring tools.
- Support incident management, RCA, and platform reliability improvements.
- Maintain dashboards and operational health metrics.
- Work with clients, architects, security teams, and data engineers.
- Participate in architecture reviews and governance meetings.
- Support task planning, mentoring, and work allocation within the team.
- 8+ years in DevOps / Cloud Engineering.
- Strong AWS Infrastructure experience.
- Snowflake deployment and support experience.
- CI/CD, Security, Automation, and Infrastructure-as-Code expertise.
- AWS Cloud (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, Lambda, ECS/EKS, RDS, Glue, CloudWatch).
- Snowflake DevOps & Release Management.
- CI/CD Pipeline Design & Automation.
- Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CDK
- DevSecOps & Security Controls
- Monitoring & Observability (CloudWatch, Splunk, Datadog)
- Infrastructure Automation & Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC)
- Desired
- Healthcare Payer domain experience
- Snowflake migrations from Teradata, Netezza, Oracle, SQL Server, Hadoop
- Shell scripting
- AWS CDK
- HIPAA / PHI / PII compliance experience
