Senior DevOps Engineer (Azure) – Madrid
Base pay range: Salary to €180k (plus bonus, 25 days holiday, social team atmosphere, early finish for drinks on Fridays).
You’ll be based in Madrid on a full‑time basis (Monday to Friday). Work can be performed remotely.
Responsibilities
Provide subject matter expertise on DevOps, establishing the function, putting systems, processes and policies in place.
Automate infrastructure and systems, ensuring streamlined and efficient operations.
Own, manage, and maintain the Continuous Integration (CI) infrastructure, supporting the development pipeline and promoting rapid, reliable code delivery.
Develop and enhance monitoring and diagnostic tools to improve system visibility and operational performance.
Deliver automation solutions that directly benefit end users, improving their experience and reducing manual tasks.
Qualifications
Studied at a top 10 university in Spain (or top 200 globally) with 9.0+ in Bachillerato and 7.0+ in University – Computer Science or Mathematics preferred.
Expertise with DevOps within an Azure environment.
Software engineering background with proficiency in any programming language, C# or Python preferred, and strong scripting skills (PowerShell preferred).
Experience with Docker orchestration via Kubernetes.
Experience with public cloud technologies;
Azure preferred, AWS and GCP also considered.
Strong knowledge of modern software engineering best practices.
