Role Summary

We are looking for a passionate DevOps Engineer to join our team and contribute to building world-class, high-performance, enterprise-grade solutions for DNV’s products. The ideal candidate should embrace ethical values, transparency, and accountability, while being a quick learner who adapts to emerging technologies. This role requires strong technical expertise, a keen eye for quality, and a commitment to meeting deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for automated builds and deployments.

Manage and optimize Microsoft Azure resources including Azure SQL Database (Hyperscale), Blob Storage, and Active Directory / Entra ID.

Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Bicep for provisioning and configuration.

Collaborate on containerization strategies using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes (future adoption).

Configure and maintain monitoring and logging solutions such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics Workspace, Application Insights, and Nlog.

Apply DevSecOps practices to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and ensure compliance with encryption standards.

Perform snapshot testing, point-in-time recovery, and reliability assessments to maintain system resilience.

Work with development teams using Visual Studio Code and other tools to streamline workflows.

Participate in Well-Architected Reliability Assessments with Microsoft to ensure system robustness.

Collaborate with QA teams to ensure adequate test coverage and quality gates.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or Electronics Engineering from an accredited institution.

Preferred: Master’s Degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering.

Required Skills & Experience  

Overall 6 to 10 years of DevOPS experience 

Experience in Version Control - Git, GitHub, CI/CD tools - Azure DevOps (primary), Containerization & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes (nice to have).

Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code: Terraform (mandatory), Bicep, Ansible (nice to have).

Experience in Monitoring & Logging: Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics (mandatory); Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack 

Familiarity with Security & Compliance tools and practices: DevSecOps etc.

Experience in writing script (ideally Powershell)

Nice-to-Have Skills

Docker Compose, KubeIT

Exposure to automated testing frameworks (Pytest, Selenium, JMeter)
