Senior DevSecOps Engineer – Hybrid or Remote
Location: Greater Toronto Area Or CST to EST Canada (must be Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident)
Ideally 2-3 days a week in office but open to fully remote for candidates outside a reasonable commute.
Compensation:
$135-145k
A fast‑growing SaaS organization is looking for a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to participate in a full cloud migration to AWS, build secure production infrastructure, and own day‑to‑day security and IT operations. This is a high‑impact role with broad responsibility across cloud engineering, security, and operational reliability.
What You’ll Do
- Participate in migration from a legacy co‑lo environment to AWS
- Contribute to the build and operate secure, production‑grade AWS infrastructure
- Own IaC (Terraform), CI/CD pipelines, and observability
- Drive security posture: IAM, vulnerability mgmt, logging, endpoint compliance
- Manage core IT workflows and vendor relationships
What You Bring
- 5+ years DevOps/cloud engineering with deep AWS expertise desirable
- Strong Terraform + CI/CD experience
- Solid security fundamentals (least privilege, secrets, patching, monitoring) expeirence with Soc2 desirable
- Experience with Windows Server or Networks a plus
- Ability to balance strategic cloud build work with hands‑on operational support
