The product/ Team:

We are responsible for self services for our B2B customers where they can handle their IT products. We work in agile environment distributed across multiple locations.

WHAT IS IN FOR YOU?
As a DevOps Engineer, you'll join a dynamic team operating in an agile environment. We follow Scrum, SAFe, and conduct retrospectives and PI planning. Our team is distributed across Switzerland, Riga and India. You'll be essential in designing and developing software solutions in a collaborative, interdisciplinary setting. Requirements

What we expect:

• Java 21+, SpringBoot, Git, Maven

• SQL/NoSQL (or other database experience like MongoDB, Elasticsearch, MariaDB)

• Understanding of microservices architecture

• Understanding how Frontend works correlated with Backend - REST APIs

• Understanding of End-to-End and automated testing

• CI/CD, Development and build tools (GitLab) + Docker, basic understanding with CloudFoundry and AWS

Nice to have:

• Experience in event streaming platform (we use Kafka, Kafka streams)

• Linux/Unix knowledge

• Collaborative and communicative team player who enjoys sharing ideas and expertise, is open minded and always willing to learn

• Willing to take full ownership throughout the entire development process (design, implementation, testing, operations)

• At least 4 years of experience in Software Development

• Degree (Bachelor's degree or above) in computer science, IT diploma or equivalent relevant working experience

• Communicative, active contributor who enjoys teamwork as much as sharing ideas and expertise

• Open-minded, motivated and curious to dive into new topics and acquire new know-how

• Experience working in an agile environment.

• Good communication skills in English
