Your New Role and Responsibilities

As a valued member of our engineering team, you will contribute to the delivery of secure, reliable, and highly automated software platforms that support complex and mission‑critical systems. You will be involved across the DevOps and DevSecOps lifecycle, including environment provisioning, CI/CD pipeline development, deployment, and operational support. Working closely with software engineers, system engineers, security specialists, and operations teams, you will apply modern DevOps practices and tooling to enable repeatable, auditable, and resilient delivery of software and infrastructure. You will routinely apply a broad range of automation technologies and explore improved approaches to platform engineering and operational efficiency. You will be an established DevOps Engineer with hands‑on experience in CI/CD tooling, infrastructure automation, secure deployment practices, and operational monitoring within enterprise or regulated environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prototype and evaluate DevOps automation, tooling, and platform solutions.
  • Design, implement, and support DevOps/DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines for build, test, security scanning, and deployment.
  • Provision and manage infrastructure and environments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC).
  • Automate deployments and manage platform operations across development, test, and production environments.
  • Integrate security, monitoring, logging, and alerting capabilities to ensure platform reliability and operational visibility.
  • Support continuous improvement through tool customisation, operational support, incident remediation, and adherence to engineering and security standards.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience and training.
  • Proven experience in DevOps or DevSecOps engineering roles.
  • Hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and automation tooling.
  • Experience supporting deployments, operational platforms, and secure development/deployment practices.
  • Familiarity with Agile or Kanban delivery methodologies and collaborative multidisciplinary team environments.
  • Exposure to containerisation technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes) and tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
