The platform is evolving toward multi-region resiliency and cloud-native deployment patterns.
Ideal Candidate:
A hands-on Cloud Engineer with deep AWS expertise and strong Terraform/IaC skills, experienced in building secure, scalable cloud infrastructure and working within regulated environments. Candidate should be comfortable with DevOps practices, security controls, and cross-team collaboration.
Tell me your Top Three Hard Skills that go along with Solutions Engineer: 1) AWS infrastructure engineering (compute, networking, security, data services), 2) Terraform (IaC design, module development, and lifecycle management) and 3) CI/CD pipelines with integrated security scanning and approval gates
Tell me your Top Three Soft Skills: 1) Strong communication (including interaction with senior leadership) 2) Ownership mindset / self-starter and 3) Problem solving in complex, regulated environments
Will this person need to speak with different types of people, like Senior Leadership, or will it be mostly other engineers?: Yes - role requires interaction with engineering teams, platform services, and senior leadership, including occasional presentations and design discussions.
