We are recruiting for two DevOps Engineer posts within the Digital Team at Disclosure Scotland. As part of the Scottish Government, Disclosure Scotland delivers criminal record checks and safeguarding services that help protect Scotland's children and vulnerable adults, supporting safer recruitment and volunteering across the country.
Joining a skilled and collaborative team, you will contribute to the ongoing development and continuous improvement of Disclosure Scotland's digital services following the successful implementation of the Disclosure (Scotland) Act 2020. This role offers an excellent opportunity to broaden your technical expertise, work with modern technologies and play a key part in ensuring our digital platforms continue to support the delivery of secure, reliable and efficient safeguarding services for Scotland.

Technical Skills:
This role is aligned to DevOps Engineer in the Digital, Data and Technology Profession.
These skills will be tested during the Technical Assessment if you are successful at sift stage. They will be not be assessed at application stage. Candidates who are successful at sift stage will be invited to attend an Interview and Technical Assessment. The interview will further assess the Experience and Behaviours listed in the job advert and the Technical Assessment will evaluate the Technical Skills relevant to the role.
Candidates who pass the sift and are invited to the Interview and Technical Assessment stage will receive a Technical Assessment Candidate Pack, which will outline the skills to be assessed and the assessment methods to be used.
Following the application sift, there may be a telephone interview as part of the assessment process before the main interview.

Successful candidates must complete the Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS), before they can be appointed. BPSS is comprised of four main pre-employment checks – Identity, Right to work, Employment History and a Criminal Record check (unspent convictions).
