Senior DevOps Engineer (SRE)
Amsterdam | Hybrid – 2 days per week onsite
€125 per hour | 6-month contract

A leading international technology organisation is looking for an experienced Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join a high-scale engineering environment in Amsterdam.
You’ll be joining a team responsible for systems processing billions of events per day, helping drive an upcoming cloud migration while improving the reliability, scalability and observability of business-critical systems.
This is a hands-on senior role combining software engineering, infrastructure and SRE, with strong ownership of systems in production.
Key requirements:
- 10+ years' engineering/SRE experience, ideally within high-volume environments
- Strong Java experience
- AWS
- Kubernetes
- Terraform
- Kafka
- CI/CD
- Prometheus & Grafana
- Strong experience with observability, incident management and production systems
- End-to-end system ownership
- Strong communication, critical thinking and ability to work independently#
Nice to have:
- Confluent Cloud
- Harness
- Experience with additional cloud platforms
