The Role
- Support the development and optimisation of data infrastructure to ensure reliable and scalable data pipelines
- Work closely with analytics and product teams to define data requirements and improve data availability
- Contribute to data modelling, tracking design, and event instrumentation
- Improve data quality, validation processes, and governance standards
- Enable efficient querying and data access for analysts and stakeholders
- Collaborate with engineering teams to optimise performance across data platforms
- Design, develop, and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions using Bicep and Terraform to automate the provisioning and management of Azure resources.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, ensuring efficient and secure deployment processes for data and infrastructure projects.
- Help establish best practices in data documentation, monitoring, and lifecycle management
Your Skills and Experience
- Strong commercial experience working with data infrastructure, data engineering, or analytics engineering
- Advanced SQL skills and experience working with large-scale datasets
- Experience with cloud data platforms such as Azure, BigQuery, or Databricks
- Advanced CI/CD experience
- Proven experience working with Azure services
- Understanding of data tracking, event-based data structures, and data quality frameworks
- Ability to work cross-functionally and translate technical concepts into practical solutions
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to improving data systems
- Must have experience working with Bicep and Terraform
