Platform Engineer | Hybrid in Edinburgh | Full-time
I’m working with a leading Legal Tech firm who are looking for a Platform Engineer to join their Infrastructure Engineering team in central Edinburgh.
You’ll play a key role in shaping, maintaining, and scaling their cloud infrastructure, building automation and tooling to empower developers, and helping drive a “build it, run it” culture across the business.
What you’ll be doing
- Collaborate with development teams on architecture, scalability, and security.
- Build automation tools and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD).
- Manage infrastructure across AWS and Kubernetes.
- Improve observability and monitoring with Grafana Cloud.
- Implement cost and performance optimisations.
- Champion best practices around infrastructure security.
What they’re looking for
- Strong experience with AWS and/or Kubernetes.
- Background in Java, Python, or Go.
- Hands-on with Terraform, Docker, or Helm.
- Familiar with tools like ArgoCD, Crossplane, Karpenter, or Kyverno.
- Confident working in Linux environments with strong scripting skills.
Hybrid – 2 days per week in Edinburgh
Hybrid work arrangement requiring two days on-site in Edinburgh.
