The Role
As a DevOps Engineer you bridge the developer world with the operations world and support all parties with needed infrastructure. You are a DevOps advocate for mindset and tooling, value the longstanding DevOps technologies and help our customers continuously improve their DevOps environment.
How You’ll Make Impact
- Balance technical hands‑on work with strategic thinking.
- Ensure the operation of production and development environments and resolve disruptions in close collaboration with development teams and hosting providers.
- Bring operational excellence into development projects and ensure their implementation with high quality.
- Build and continuously optimise automation for builds, deployments, testing, and monitoring.
- Strong stakeholder management and subtle leadership skills, influencing without authority and managing political nuances.
- Provide customer consultation regarding new infrastructure projects.
What’s Important to Us
- Several years of experience in software development, architecture and familiarity with operational topics.
- Experience with Shell, PowerShell, Java, Jenkins, Ansible, Maven, Gradle, Git, GitLab, and Artifactory.
- A quick grasp, strong communication skills, and an understanding of business processes.
- Technical degree (University of Applied Sciences, university, ETH, or equivalent) is a plus.
- Daily communication with customers and colleagues, fluent in German and English.
