An opportunity to join a focused, hands-on contract where you will play a key role in building and scaling modern Azure-based infrastructure and DevOps capabilities for a Data and AI team. The project centres on delivering robust, automated cloud environments, improving deployment processes, and driving Infrastructure as Code and DevOps best practices across the platform.

The Role and Deliverables
- Design and implement Infrastructure as Code solutions using Bicep and Terraform within Azure
- Build, manage, and optimise Azure cloud infrastructure to support data and application workloads
- Develop and optimise Databricks environment
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps to enable efficient and reliable deployments
- Develop automation scripts using PowerShell and Azure CLI to streamline operational processes
- Support the deployment, monitoring, and optimisation of Azure services including compute, storage, networking, and security
- Collaborate with engineering, data, and platform teams to deliver scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions
Your Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer within Azure cloud environments
- Proven experience designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure in Azure
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code using Bicep and Terraform
- Demonstrated expertise building and managing Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
- Ability to automate and optimise workflows using PowerShell and Azure CLI
- Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure performance, security, monitoring, and optimisation
- Experience supporting Databricks and data platform environments
