Senior DevOps Engineer (FinTech / Mission-Critical Infrastructure)

Overview

LuxeTech is representing a high-growth financial institution currently executing a digital transformation from legacy monolithic architectures to a modern, high-frequency, software-defined ecosystem.

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead the development of highly available, secure, and automated deployment frameworks. The successful candidate will demonstrate a deep understanding of the rigorous regulatory requirements inherent in the financial sector and prioritize system resilience and data integrity.

Technical Requirements

  • Advanced Linux Administration: Proficiency in Linux systems, including kernel parameter optimization and complex network troubleshooting via command-line interface (CLI).
  • Container Orchestration: Substantial experience managing Kubernetes (K8s) at scale, specifically within high-transaction environments requiring low-latency performance.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Advanced competency in Terraform or Ansible to facilitate the deployment of immutable infrastructure and ensure environment consistency.
  • Cloud Architecture & Security: Extensive experience with AWS (EKS) or Azure (AKS), focusing on FinOps (cloud cost optimization) and robust Identity Access Management (IAM) protocols.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Direct experience operating within strictly regulated frameworks, including PCI-DSS, SOC2, or OSFI standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Zero Trust Security: Architect and implement security protocols following Zero Trust principles to ensure the integrity of all internal and external service communications.
  • Observability & SRE: Develop and maintain comprehensive observability frameworks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack) to monitor system health and perform deep-dive latency analysis.
  • Automated CI/CD Pipelines: Oversee the lifecycle of continuous integration and deployment pipelines, integrating automated vulnerability scanning (Snyk, SonarQube) and testing to ensure secure, rapid delivery.
  • Process Automation: Identify and execute opportunities for operational efficiency through advanced scripting and the integration of AI-enhanced monitoring and diagnostic tools.

Professional Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Proven track record in a Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) or DevOps role within the financial services or FinTech industry.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
