Job Description:
As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between development and operations, automating processes, enhancing system reliability, and enabling the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 5+ years' experience in a DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, or similar position
- Strong experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools including Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or similar
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates
- Experience with containerisation and orchestration technologies including Docker and Kubernetes
- Strong Linux administration, scripting, and automation skills using Bash, PowerShell, Python, or similar
- Experience implementing monitoring, logging, and observability solutions such as Grafana, Prometheus, ELK Stack, or Datadog
- Knowledge of networking, security, system reliability, and performance optimisation principles
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Experience working within Agile and DevOps-driven environments
Qualification:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- Relevant cloud certifications such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud certifications are advantageous
- DevOps, Kubernetes, Terraform, or other infrastructure automation certifications will be beneficial
