About the Role:
We are seeking a Mid DevOps Engineer to join our growing team and drive the design, implementation, and maintenance of our infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. You will play a key role in automating processes, enhancing system reliability, and ensuring smooth software delivery in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, etc.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Monitor and support cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) ensuring high availability and performance.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline the software release process.
- Manage container orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Enhance system observability with monitoring/logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK Stack, or Datadog.
- Implement security best practices across CI/CD and infrastructure layers.
- Lead incident management and root cause analysis of production issues.
Requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, system administration, or infrastructure engineering.
- Strong knowledge of at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Expertise in CI/CD tools, infrastructure automation, and scripting languages (Bash, Python, etc.).
- Deep understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized application deployment.
- Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development practices.
- Solid understanding of networking, system security, and performance tuning.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Expert, or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
- Experience with service mesh, secrets management, or zero-downtime deployments.
