Compensation: Up to $140K (FTE) / $75/hr (Contract)
Job Summary:As a DevOps Engineer, you'll play a key role in managing cloud infrastructure, automating deployments, and supporting data platform operations. This is a hybrid DevOps + Data Engineering role with a stronger focus on DevOps, where you'll work on platform upgrades, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud-native technologies while ensuring the reliability of ETL and data pipelines.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and enhance CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows
- Upgrade and maintain cloud-native infrastructure and platform components
- Develop and improve Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Support, monitor, and optimize ETL/data pipelines in AWS environments
- Implement Python-based enhancements to support platform upgrades
- Perform platform validation, integration testing, and production readiness checks
- Apply security patches and ensure compliance with governance standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and reliable cloud solutions
Qualifications & Experience:
- 9+ years of DevOps/SRE or Platform Engineering experience
- Strong hands‑on expertise with Terraform, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
- Good understanding of ETL/ELT pipelines and Python‑based frameworks
- Experience with platform upgrades, infrastructure automation, and cloud migration strategies
- Knowledge of AWS Redshift, Athena, RDS and enterprise data platforms is a plus
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
