My client is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to strengthen and evolve their cloud-native infrastructure and automation capabilities. The role focuses on supporting a modern, scalable technology stack built on leading cloud platforms, emphasizing containerized microservices and orchestration for high-performance financial applications.
You will join a collaborative, cross-functional team in a dynamic environment, contributing to the ongoing improvement of development and operational practices. As a senior contributor, you will help shape CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and overall system reliability.
Key Responsibilities
Enhance automation frameworks and deployment processes for Java-based microservices.
Own and advance cloud infrastructure management, including monitoring, alerting, and scalability initiatives.
Improve system resiliency, performance, and operational excellence.
Partner with software development teams on automation initiatives and with operations/support teams on infrastructure matters.
Candidate Profile
Solid background as a Java developer working with service-oriented or microservices architectures.
Strong interest and hands‑on exposure to designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, builds, deployments, and monitoring solutions.
Proven experience with cloud infrastructure environments.
Essential Qualifications
Minimum 3 years in a DevOps or SRE-related role.
Experience building and operating services in AWS (or equivalent cloud platforms).
Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Pulumi.
Strong programming skills in languages like Python and Go.
Deep knowledge of container technologies (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes/EKS).
Hands‑on experience with CI/CD platforms like Jenkins.
Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Salt, or Puppet).
Comfortable working in Linux environments with shell scripting.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
AWS certification preferred but not required.
