We are seeking a DevOps Engineer with Cloud Infrastructure Configuration Engineer experience supporting hybrid environments consisting of both cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
This role combines Infrastructure as Code (IaC), server automation, and CI/CD configuration engineering to support application deployment and infrastructure provisioning across enterprise environments.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Terraform, Windows and Linux server administration, and CI/CD pipeline technologies supporting .NET and Java applications. This position offers an opportunity to work across infrastructure, automation, and deployment engineering while helping drive increased adoption of Infrastructure as Code and automation practices.
Cloud Infrastructure Engineering
- Build, maintain, and support infrastructure using Terraform across cloud and on-premises environments
- Develop reusable Infrastructure as Code modules and templates to standardize infrastructure deployments
- Provision and manage Windows and Linux servers, networking components, storage, and security configurations
- Support infrastructure deployments across development, test, staging, and production environments
- Assist with monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining infrastructure reliability and performance
- Participate in infrastructure upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management activities
- Follow infrastructure security, compliance, and operational best practices
CI/CD Configuration Engineering
- Support and maintain CI/CD pipelines for .NET and Java applications
- Configure and manage deployment automation using tools such as Jenkins, Digital.ai Release (XLR), Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar technologies
- Troubleshoot build, deployment, and configuration issues across multiple environments
- Work with development teams to automate software delivery processes and improve deployment efficiency
- Maintain application configuration standards and deployment procedures
- Support release implementation, deployment validation, and rollback activities when necessary
- Collaborate with application development, infrastructure, and production support teams throughout the software delivery lifecycle
Automation Configuration Management
- Develop automation scripts using PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar scripting languages
- Utilize configuration management tools such as Ansible or Ansible Tower to automate server and application administration tasks
- Automate repetitive operational and deployment activities
- Improve deployment consistency through standardized automation practices
Operations Support
- Monitor infrastructure and deployment pipelines to identify and resolve issues proactively
- Assist in root cause analysis and issue resolution activities
- Create and maintain technical documentation, deployment procedures, and operational runbooks
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in Infrastructure Engineering, Configuration Engineering, DevOps, or a related field
- Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management
- Experience supporting both cloud and on-premises server environments
- Experience administering Windows and/or Linux servers
- Working knowledge of CI/CD concepts and deployment automation tools
- Experience supporting application deployments for .NET and Java applications
- Experience with Git-based source control systems such as Bitbucket, GitHub, or GitLab
- Experience with scripting technologies including PowerShell, Bash, or Python
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Familiarity with Jenkins, Digital.ai Release (XLR), Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions
- Experience with Ansible or other configuration management tools
- Understanding of cloud networking, security, and identity management concepts
- Knowledge of container platforms such as Docker or Kubernetes
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale application deployment environments
