JOB DUTIES:The DevOps Engineers – 1 will support the development, implementation, and maintenance of automated deployment pipelines and cloud-based infrastructure environments. The engineer will work under the supervision of senior team members and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system reliability, scalability, and deployment efficiency.
- Assisting in the development and management of CI/CD pipelines.
- Supporting cloud infrastructure environments under guidance.
- Participating in system monitoring and basic troubleshooting tasks.
- Writing basic automation scripts to streamline operations.
- Supporting the deployment and maintenance of containerized applications.
- Assisting with configuration management and infrastructure automation.
- Participating in code reviews and documentation of operational processes.
Relocation to various unanticipated client sites across USA required up to 4 times per year.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equiv.) in Computer Science or any IT related field, any Engineering / Technology field, or related.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):- Cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration basics with Kubernetes.
- CI/CD principles and tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts and tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Linux or Unix-based system administration.
- Scripting in Python, Shell, or a similar language.
- Basic monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack).
- Configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
