DevOps Intern

Cambio is a software research and development center for Cambio Healthcare Systems AB, Sweden, currently with over 300 software engineering professionals in Sri Lanka designing and developing cutting edge Healthcare Solutions using state of the art of technologies to cater to our prestigious clientele.
Role Profile:

Responsible for the configuration, maintenance and upgrades of core DevOps services. Also, configuration and maintenance of the CI/CD pipelines. They also build tools & operational processes to improve the efficiency of the entire organization.

Receiving mentorship, the candidate will support the team in the following capacities:

• Automating DevOps Workflows

• Help configure DevOps tools for the team and monitor the DevOps infrastructure

• Involve in scripting and automate mundane tasks in core infrastructure (Usage of IAC tools)

• Evaluate, design and implement various DevOps tools

• Document internal processes

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Should have knowledge in UNIX/Linux, SQL and RDBMS

• Basic scripting knowledge (e.g. Python, Bash etc.)

• Knowledge in Cloud technologies would be an added advantage

• Knowledge in CI/CD processes will be an additional advantage

Other Requirements:

• Ability to communicate clearly and in English

• Commitment and desire to rapidly learn new concepts and technologies

• Strong team collaboration with excellent interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently on BAU (Business as Usual) tasks with guidance and mentorship from senior team members.

Educational Requirements:

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science, IT or a Software Engineering degree from a recognized/accredited university
