Job Summary
Minnesota IT Services (MNIT) is seeking a collaborative and strategic technology leader to serve as the DevOps Manager supporting Direct Care and Treatment (DCT). This position provides leadership for the DevOps and Application Services function, overseeing application development and support while leading a team of IT professionals responsible for delivering secure, reliable, and high-quality technology solutions that support critical state services.
As a member of the MNIT DCT leadership team, this position partners with agency leadership, business stakeholders, and MNIT enterprise teams to establish priorities, guide technology initiatives, promote modern software delivery practices, and continuously improve technology services. Responsibilities include workforce leadership, strategic planning, operational oversight, technology governance, resource management, and fostering a collaborative, customer-focused culture.
This position requires an employee to work onsite at 3200 Labore Road, Vadnais Heights, Minnesota at least 50% [or more or less if space limitations remain] of the time, with limited telework available. Telework eligibility depends on residence:
Qualifications
Position requires a minimum of five (5) years of IT experience leading application development, application support, DevOps, or related technology services in a complex technology environment.
Experience must include:
Two (2) years of experience in a Systems Architect classification or two (2) years of experience in an external IT Architect role may substitute for the required supervisory experience.

Minnesota IT Services does not participate in the federal E-Verify program.
