Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and maintain cloud-native platforms.
- Manage and support Kubernetes environments.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code.
- Monitor application and infrastructure performance.
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and deployment issues.
- Work closely with Software Developers and Cloud Engineers.
- Improve deployment automation and release processes.
- Implement monitoring, logging and observability solutions.
Job Experience & Skills Required / Ideal Candidate Profile:
Education
- BSc, BCom, Diploma or equivalent qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field will be advantageous.
- Relevant cloud or DevOps certifications will be advantageous.
Experience
- 47 years of DevOps, Platform Engineering or Cloud Engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on Kubernetes experience.
- Experience with AWS and/or Azure.
- Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong Infrastructure as Code experience.
- Experience with Docker and containerised environments.
