Position: Senior DevOps Programmer

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure on AWS cloud platforms, ensuring high availability and performance of systems.
  • Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments, ensuring code is tested, delivered, and released to production environments.
  • Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes in a production environment, ensuring clusters are properly maintained, scalable, and secure.
  • Collaborate closely with developers to address infrastructure needs, optimize resource utilization, and enhance performance and reliability of systems in production.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to critical infrastructure issues and minimize downtime.
  • Apply best practices in testing, security, performance monitoring, and efficient resource utilization.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 9 years of experience in a DevOps or infrastructure role, including at least 5 years in a DevOps role with cloud platforms.
  • Experience working with AWS and micro-services.
  • Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration, including cluster management, application scaling, and reliability.
  • Proficient in automating infrastructure and processes using tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, or similar.
  • Autonomous, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to resolve complex problems.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with developers, tech leads, and other team members.
