Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevSecOps & Cloud Engineer with extensive experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise DevOps platforms, cloud-native infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and DevSecOps practices. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in GitHub Actions, Jenkins Shared Libraries, GitHub Enterprise migrations, Terraform, AWS and/or Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, SonarQube, JFrog Artifactory or Nexus Repository Manager, and automation using Python and Shell scripting.
The successful candidate will architect secure, scalable, and automated delivery pipelines, standardize CI/CD frameworks, integrate security throughout the software development lifecycle, and lead cloud transformation initiatives. Working closely with Engineering, Security, and Platform teams, this role will drive DevSecOps best practices, enhance developer productivity, improve software quality, and mentor engineers in building modern, resilient, and efficient cloud platforms.
What you will do:
CI/CD Engineering
Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Jenkins Shared Libraries.
Secure secrets using GitHub Secrets, OIDC, and cloud-native secret management solutions.
Configure and maintain SonarQube for code quality governance and technical debt management.
Enforce deployment approvals, environment protection rules, and release governance.
Platform Engineering & Automation
Design, deploy, and manage self-hosted GitHub Runners, including Kubernetes-based Actions Runner Controller (ARC).
Manage and optimize artifact repositories using JFrog Artifactory or Nexus Repository Manager.
Develop automation solutions using Python and Shell scripting to improve operational efficiency.
Optimize build infrastructure for scalability, reliability, performance, security, and cost efficiency.
Troubleshoot complex CI/CD pipeline failures, deployment issues, and infrastructure challenges.
Technical Leadership
Define and enforce enterprise CI/CD standards, Git workflows, YAML best practices, and branching strategies.
Mentor developers and DevOps engineers on modern DevOps, automation, and platform engineering practices.
Collaborate with Engineering, Security, and Platform teams to continuously improve software delivery processes.
Evaluate and implement emerging DevOps tools, cloud technologies, and automation best practices aligned with business objectives.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline. A Master's degree is an added advantage.
8+ years of professional experience in DevSecOps, Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Software Engineering, or a related role.
Strong expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Jenkins Shared Libraries.
Hands-on experience building reusable workflows, composite actions, shared libraries, automation templates, and standardized CI/CD frameworks.
Proven experience leading migrations from legacy source control and CI/CD platforms (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI) to GitHub Enterprise.
Strong experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC), integrating infrastructure provisioning into CI/CD pipelines.
Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms and cloud-native services supporting CI/CD and DevOps workflows.
Experience implementing DevSecOps best practices, including SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, license compliance, secrets management, and secure deployment governance.
Experience managing and optimizing artifact repositories using JFrog Artifactory or Nexus Repository Manager.
Experience configuring and maintaining SonarQube for code quality analysis, governance, and technical debt management.
Strong proficiency in Python for automation and tooling, with working knowledge of Bash/Shell scripting.
Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes, including managed platforms such as Amazon EKS, Azure AKS, or Google GKE.
Expert knowledge of Git, including branching strategies, GitFlow, Trunk-Based Development, and repository management.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex CI/CD, infrastructure, and cloud platform issues.
Excellent communication, collaboration, stakeholder management, mentoring, and technical leadership skills.
Preferred Skills:
AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional or equivalent cloud certification.
GitHub Actions, GitHub Administration, Kubernetes, Terraform, or related DevOps certifications.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams.
Strong understanding of CI/CD governance, release management, and software delivery best practices.
