We are looking for a Junior DevSecOps Engineer to join our global technology and cybersecurity team. This role focuses on embedding security into the software delivery lifecycle, supporting cloud platforms, and ensuring alignment with global security standards.
You will work closely with engineering, security, and operations teams to help secure applications and infrastructure in a highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
Integrate security practices into CI/CD pipelines (SAST, DAST, open-source scanning)
Identify, track, and support remediation of security vulnerabilities
Assist with implementing controls aligned to NIST (e.g., CSF, 800-53) and ISO 27001 frameworks
Collaborate with developers to promote secure coding standards and practices
Support cloud security configurations across AWS, Azure, or GCP
Monitor systems and logs to detect and respond to security risks or incidents
Contribute to security automation using scripts and DevOps tooling
Participate in security assessments, audits, and compliance activities
Maintain clear documentation for security controls and procedures
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
3 + years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or cybersecurity
Mandatory: Working knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST and/or ISO 27001
Hands-on exposure to CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, etc.)
Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Knowledge Of Core Security Concepts
Identity & Access Management (IAM)
Encryption and secrets management
Network security principles
Familiarity with scripting (Python, Bash, or similar)
Strong willingness to learn and grow in DevSecOps practices
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with DevSecOps/security tools (e.g., Snyk, SonarQube, OWASP ZAP)
Exposure to containers and Kubernetes
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, etc.)
