Auria is looking to hire a DevSecOps Engineer to join the team and support the MSFITS program. This position is a hybrid role located in Colorado Springs, CO.

What You Can Expect To Do:
  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitLab) to support automated build, test, security scanning, and controlled promotion of software artifacts across air‑gapped environments
  • Manage containerized application environments (Docker/Kubernetes), ensuring consistent, reproducible deployments across development, integration, and test systems
  • Configure and maintain artifact management processes, including version control, traceability, and promotion of release candidates across environments
  • Deploy and validate software baselines onto hardware systems, supporting system integration, regression testing, and delivery of MSFITS suites
  • Implement and enforce DevSecOps cybersecurity controls, including STIG application, vulnerability scanning, and remediation within pipelines and deployed environments
  • Maintain alignment with Risk Management Framework (RMF) requirements by ensuring system configurations, artifacts, and documentation accurately reflect deployed baselines
  • Support integration, test, and release management activities, ensuring configuration consistency and readiness for customer acceptance and fielding
  • Troubleshoot and optimize pipeline, deployment, and integration issues, ensuring reliability and repeatability across all environments
  • Collaborate with software, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and test teams to enable secure, compliant, and mission‑ready software delivery

What The Team Requires:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 6+ years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, or software integration roles; hands‑on experience with GitLab CI/CD pipeline development and maintenance and containerization and orchestration (Docker and Kubernetes)
  • Experience supporting software build, test, and release processes, including artifact promotion and version control
  • Strong experience with Linux environments and shell scripting
  • Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and integration test execution
  • Understanding of DevSecOps practices, including secure pipeline implementation and artifact management
  • Experience with DoD cybersecurity requirements, including STIGs, vulnerability scanning, and RMF processes
  • Ability to support air‑gapped or controlled deployment environments with strict configuration and promotion controls
  • Experience troubleshooting pipeline, integration, and deployment issues

What The Team Prefers:
  • Experience supporting SATCOM, RF, or Electronic Warfare (EW) systems and integration environments
  • Familiarity with software factory architecture and controlled artifact promotion models in restricted environments
  • Experience with artifact repositories (e.g., Nexus, Artifactory) and dependency management
  • Knowledge of CMMC, NIST 800‑53, and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) requirements
  • Experience implementing advanced pipeline security tools, including SAST, DAST, and container scanning
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
  • Experience supporting system‑level integration, regression testing, and release validation
  • Exposure to monitoring and logging solutions (e.g., ELK stack, Prometheus, Grafana)
  • Experience working in Agile/PI‑based development cycles using tools such as Jira

  1. Prior experience supporting defense programs aligned with the United States Space Force. Relevant certifications: CompTIA Security+ (DoD 8570 compliant); Kubernetes certifications (CKA/CKAD); AWS/Azure certifications.


Pay Transparency:

The salary offered will be based on the selected candidate's qualifications, skills, education, and experience, and the position level. $115,000 - $125,000.
