Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced DevSecOps – GitHub Enterprise Expert to drive the adoption, governance, and operationalization of GitHub Enterprise across product organizations. This role will act as a change agent and DevOps evangelist, helping teams transition to modern, secure, and automated software delivery practices while ensuring compliance with enterprise standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive adoption of GitHub Enterprise across engineering teams.

  • Enable and operationalize enterprise GitHub platform capabilities.

  • Define governance, compliance, and repository management standards.

  • Establish secure software development and DevSecOps best practices.

  • Support migration from legacy ALM platforms (GitLab, Azure DevOps, etc.) to GitHub Enterprise.

  • Define and implement CI/CD pipelines for automated software delivery.

  • Ensure compliance with SSDLC and enterprise security standards.

  • Enable repository onboarding, standardization, and governance.

  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, QA, Release Managers, and SRE teams.

  • Promote reusable automation templates and self-service workflows.

  • Act as the bridge between central platform teams and engineering organizations.

  • Support productivity, quality, and delivery performance improvements.

  • Drive organizational change and DevOps transformation initiatives.


Required Skills:

  • Proven experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, Platform Engineering, or Enablement roles.

  • Strong expertise in GitHub Enterprise administration and governance.

  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline design and implementation.

  • Strong understanding of DevSecOps practices and Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC).

  • Experience implementing governance, compliance, and security controls.

  • Experience supporting GitLab-to-GitHub or similar platform migration projects.

  • Strong understanding of repository management, access control, and policy enforcement.

  • Experience driving enterprise-wide tooling adoption and transformation initiatives.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

  • Strong problem-solving and change management capabilities.


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in regulated or compliance-driven environments.

  • Knowledge of cloud-native DevOps platforms and infrastructure automation.

  • Exposure to Software Release Engineering practices.

  • Experience with enterprise-scale software delivery ecosystems.


Eligibility / Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
