Document Controller Northumberland

Park Recruit are delighted to be partnering with a leading contractor specialising in the delivery of large-scale data centre projects across the UK and Europe.

Due to new project wins, we're seeking an experienced Document Controller to join their team in the Northumberland region . This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile project with a business renowned for delivering complex, mission-critical facilities.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Ensure all documents are accurately recorded, distributed, and filed in line with company procedures.

  • Control the issue and tracking of drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.

  • Coordinate document flow between project teams, subcontractors, consultants, and clients.

  • Maintain document registers, trackers, and revision logs.

  • Carry out quality checks to ensure documentation complies with company standards.

  • Ensure the latest document revisions are available to all relevant stakeholders.

  • Support QA/QC processes by maintaining accurate and traceable records.

  • Prepare document status reports and monitor outstanding documentation.

  • Manage the storage, archiving, and retrieval of project information.

  • Attend project meetings where required to support document management.

  • Identify and escalate any document control issues when necessary.


Candidate Requirements:
  • Essential - minimum 2 years experience in a Document Controller position within construction, engineering, or a similar environment.

  • Experience using document management platforms such as Aconex, Procore, Viewpoint, or equivalent.

  • Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Information Management, or a related discipline.

  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and coordination skills.

  • Able to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines.

  • Keen to develop your career within a fast-paced project environment.

  • Previous experience on data centre, industrial, or other large-scale construction projects would be advantageous.
